Jordi Aparicio

Jordi Aparicio Manchado (1984, Barcelona,) is a jewellery maker, watchmaker, and jewellery professor. From a family of watchmakers, he learned the trade from a young age, and after working for several years as a watchmaker restorer, he was driven to learn to create objects, studying artistic jewellery at the Escuela de Arte la Industrial. Fusing both his knowledge of watchmaking with jewellery, his first pieces were kinetic, and later with further mastery of the technique, he began to focus on the investigation of his own processes based on fire control.
